ALL THAT REMAINS Working With ADAM DUTKIEWICZ On New Album

April 8, 2010

Massachusetts metallers ALL THAT REMAINS are currently in pre-production at Zing Studios in Westfield, Massachusetts on their fifth album for a fall 2010 release via Prosthetic Records. The CD is being produced by KILLSWITCH ENGAGE guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz, who previously helmed ALL THAT REMAINS' "The Fall of Ideals" (2006) and "This Darkened Heart" (2004) releases.

"When they asked me to do the new record, I gladly accepted," Adam tells AOL's Noisecreep. "Although their practice space reeks of stale beer, Burger King farts and 'Chicopee tears,' I've heard some of their new stuff and it sounds like it's gonna be pretty sweet! Expect blazing leads, Greek chugs, some female bottom, a good amount of eastern Mass kicks and big vocals from a little man. Har har har!"

ALL THAT REMAINS frontman Phil Labonte, who filled in for KILLSWITCH ENGAGE singer Howard Jones on the band's recent North American headlining tour, jokes to Noisecreep, "So I'm home from six weeks filling in on vocals for KILLSWITCH, get to our practice space, and there's Adam D again!!! FUGG!!!"

"We're in 'time to make the donuts' mode, and the donuts are metal tunes!

"We're pumped to be working with Adam again. Nothin' like making music in the spring with good friends in Massachusetts."

"Forever In Your Hands", the latest video from ALL THAT REMAINS, was filmed with director David Brodsky (SUICIDE SILENCE, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, WHITECHAPEL) and his MyGoodEye crew at the August 9, 2009 stop of the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival at the Nissan Pavilion in Washington, D.C. It features cameo appearances by Dutkiewicz and Joel Stroetzel of KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, Shannon Lucas of THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, and Byron Davis and Doc Coyle of GOD FORBID.

ALL THAT REMAINS in August released a two-song "Forever In Your Hands" digital EP via iTunes, Amazon, etc.

The band's drummer Jason Costa broke his hand in July and was unable to play with ALL THAT REMAINS on the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, which kicked off on July 10 and concluded in August. Temporarily replacing Costa on the trek was Tony Laureano, who is best known for his work with such bands as DIMMU BORGIR and NILE.

ALL THE REMAINS had its first Top 10 hit at rock radio with "Two Weeks", a song from "Overcome".
